About the National Seminar

Formulation of the new National Education Policy is on the horizon that beckons promising reforms and transformations in the arena of Indian education. As we are on the threshold of a new phase of change, with new ideas, policies, programmes and events waiting in the wings to set for revolutionizing education in India, it has been considered as important for the Higher Education Institutions in general and Universities in particular to be a part and contribute exuberantly towards this magnificent endeavour. Realising this cardinal responsibility, the Department of Education, Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod is intending to organize a National Seminar on Envisioning the New National Education Policy for Sustaining Excellence to join hands with the ongoing New Education Policy consultations of the MHRD, Govt. of India, extending from the grass root level and scaling to the highest levels of Indian education system.

The National Seminar will be comprehensively overviewing the multi facets of Indian education, hopefully contributing new ideas insights and framework towards the formulation of the epoch-making New National Education Policy to bring about and sustain educational excellence at all levels. The programme will be witnessing eminent academicians from various universities nationwide sharing their perspectives, experiences and views relevant to the topic in different sessions. The National Seminar is open to the erudite teaching-learning community at all levels of education across the nation who can contribute significant inputs feasible for consideration for the emerging NEP and its subsequent plan of action.
